Your name is a du'a

It's very long time I don't say hello to you guys! Yeah, this is not my first post but this is the first time I write blog in English. So... Enjoy and keep stay tuned in this blog! 😊

Do you know about your name guys? Yeah, everyone has a name because names are very important to identify people. Every parent want to give the best name for their children because name can become a du'a for the future. Then I curious to know the meaning of my name. So, I will tell you about the meaning and the origin of my name. My name is Nita Nur Aeny.

My first name is Nita. I don't really like my name because when I was in Junior High School, my first name got typo to Noita then some of my friends call me Nobita 😂. I know Nobita is funny name but I don't like my friends call me like this and I don't know the meaning of Nita surely. I asked my mother, "Why do you give me Nita for my name?". My mother said, "Nita is picked from June", because I was born on June. Then my mother just picked "Ni" for my first name and she added "Ta" behind "Ni". My mother want to give my name Yuni but she said that Yuni's name is a lot. So, she give my name Nita.

My mother don't know actually the meaning of my first name. Then I search in Google, I got so many different meaning from some languages. There are good and bad meaning. I got some meaning of Nita, it is "understanding, good woman, noble, realistic, and etc". I also got bad meaning like " betting, game, and bear" What? Bear? 😱. But I think bear can be du'a for me. Wkwkwk ( ber-uang) 😆 aamiin..

I still confused about my first name, then I asked one of my aunty. My aunt said that she ever heard the meaning of Nita is beautiful girl 💃Alhamdulillah wkwkwk. It's not too bad meaning. At least, there are good meanings for my first name.

Secondly, my back name is Nur Aeny. Nur Aeny picked from Arabic that the meaning is the light of eyes. But, when I look the mirror, there aren't light on my eyes 😂. Maybe my mother want her daughter like a sun who give many benefit for around from the light. Hehehe aamiin..

I am very thankful to my parents especially for my mother who gave me birth, cares, and give me name. But, if I am given a chance to change my name, I will change my name to Marzia (blessed by Allah and  satisfied with myself). Then if I have daughter, I will give her name Ayasha Dzakira (Ayasha from word Aisyah/Ayesha, Dzakira is strong memory or always dhikr) or Aiza Hilya (Aiza: strong, honored, and noble, Hilya: jewelry or good behavior). If I have son, I will give his name Salman Abdullah (the servant of Allah who is safe and protected by Allah) or Shaka Ibrahim (Shaka: generous, kind, and open mind). I am also like English name. I like William, Smith, and Luis for male, and then I like Vanessa, Marie, and Jennifer for female.
